Getting 401 Error: Authentication Failed: Consumer error message #988

Hi,
I am not a very technical person at all, but really want to be able to use ODK 
to collect data. I initially started using my regular gmail account, but after 
this did not work I opened a new gmail account to see if this was the problem. 
This does not seem to have fixed it.

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Installed ODK Aggregate windows-installer.exe (7467)
2. Followed instructions from http://opendatakit.org/use/aggregate/
3. Try to sign in http://opendatakit.appspot.com/openid_login.html and it fails.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
I get the message "Error: Authentication Failed: Consumer error message" when I 
try and sign in with Google http://opendatakit.appspot.com/openid_login.html I 
am not sure what I should see as I never get past this!

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
ODK Aggregate v1.4.2
Windows 7

Please provide any additional information below.

The message I received when trying with my regular gmail was slightly 
different; "Error: Authentication Failed: account not recognized"

I have tried checking the log to ensure I am using the correct email account 
(no capitals, spaces etc.) and it seems I am.

I would be very grateful for any help,
