ODK Collect in Google Play is shown as not compatible with Samsung Galaxy Note N7000 (most problably because of a resolution issue)

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. upgrade Samsung Galaxy Note N7000 (first generation) to Android 4.1.2
2. ODK Collect in Google Play is shown as not compatible with my device

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
Current ODK version. No issues on Android 2.3.5, not compatible on Adroid 4.1.2

Here is my message that I sent you via email:

Unfortunately, there is the issue that I am not able to install / use the app 
since I upgraded my device to the Android version 4.1.2.
It is a Samsung Galaxy Note N7000 (first generation) and with Android 2.3.5 I 
had no problems.
I can't actually say in which upgrade broke the app (I haven't updated my 
device for long, so I went through all updates in one day).

When I look for ODK Collect in Google Play I get the message that the app is 
not compatible with my device.
I already had this problem with another app and the only issue was that the 
Android API for the version 4.1.2 seems to include a check for resolution / 
display size. As the Samsung Galaxy Note seems to have a special format it 
falls out of compatibility. So, maybe this it is the same issue with your app 
(?). If so, it would be easy to solve.

I would appreciate if you could check and fix that.

For posterity: 

The eventual bizarre solution was to do a factory-data-reset on the device.

This apparently cleared something within Google Play Services or Google Play 
Store that was preventing the device from being recognized.
