"Force GPU rendering" causes problems on ICS #300

Following was e-mailed to me:

I recently downloaded Androminion on my Samsung Galaxy Nexus running ICS
version 4.0.2 and got a visual bug which shrinks the app to just the lower 1/4
of my screen. However, it would not show anything other than just a black
screen w/ what looks to be a cursor (although I'm sure it's the bottom of a
letter from your greeting). This bug only occurs when I use the developer
option of "Force GPU rendering" (this forces poorly designed apps like
Twitter/Facebook to scroll through text better), turning it off fixes this
issue.

This is not a "crippling" issue since it is able to be toggled on & off to play
the game, but some people may not think to look at that option on their phone
to turn it off. Considering the popularity of Twitter/Facebook & other text
heavy applications that may not be designed to take appropriate usage of the
GPU, it's a more common problem that crops up.

I was able to reproduce this. The default setting for "Force GPU rendering" is
off, so this issue will only occur for someone who has changed it.

No problems here with r573. Problem still valid?

I couldn't reproduce it with the old build anymore either (Galaxy Nexus ICS
4.0.4). Looks like one of the Android updates fixed it.
