Backing up hidden files from Confluence docs

Description:

As per the email [1], we are migrating the Confluence-based docs from the on-prem community to the community cloud. With this process, all the hidden pages (pages with restricted access) in Confluence will be lost after the migration to the cloud version.

Currently, WSO2 Open Banking 2.0.0 and earlier versions (OB 1.5, OB 1.4, and OB 1.3) are hosted on Confluence.

Therefore, it is required to double-check if we have restricted access to pages that we actually want, and if so, take a PDF and back them up along with any attachments.

Hence, created this issue to track the above requirement.

• Had a quick chat with @nilminiwso2 regarding this.

  • It seems only the view-restricted pages will be lost during this process.
  • Some pages in the OB doc spaces are edit-restricted even though the standard practice is to have no restrictions. Anyway, these pages won't be lost during the migration since they are not view-restricted.
  • However, there are some restricted pages in the OB doc spaces. For example: The list of restricted pages for OB200 can be accessed here: https://docs.wso2.com/pages/listpermissionpages.action?key=OB200

• As per emails [2] and [3], we have hidden the migration docs and related artifacts from the public documentation. The aforementioned Confluence pages are also hidden (view-restricted). However, all the OB migration docs have already been converted into Markdown and are available at https://github.com/wso2-enterprise/migration-docs/tree/main/open-banking.

• After migrating all the pages to the cloud, there will be a testing time period before the docs will be taken down. Will confirm the changes during that period.

I identified there are some pages that are publicly inaccessible:

• https://docs.wso2.com/display/OB200/Key+Concepts

These pages are only accessible if we log in to Confluence using WSO2 credentials.

Need to confirm if these pages are not required for the public. And since they are not already publicly available, they are most likely to be lost during the migration process.

Therefore, as discussed with @lalaji today, I will manually check if the content on such pages is repeated elsewhere inside the documentation space.

However, AFAIK 2 pages with the same title cannot exist since the URL is automatically created based on the page title. But the same content could be found on a page with a different page title.

If there are any unique pages that are publicly inaccessible, I will share a list of those pages with the R&D team for all 4 doc spaces hosted in Confluence (OB 200, OB 150, OB 140, and OB 130), and get their suggestions whether the content is outdated or necessary.
