[OB3] Improvements and changes to UI of Consent Manager Self Care Portal #48
Description:
The current User Interface (UI) of the Consent Manager Self Care Portal is experiencing several issues that significantly impact user experience (UX). Firstly, there are problems with screen responsiveness, indicating that the interface does not adapt well to different screen sizes or devices. This lack of responsiveness can frustrate users and hinder their ability to navigate the portal efficiently.
Secondly, the styling of buttons and links. Currently they are presented outdated stylings such as shadows and narrow borders. The download links for confirmation of consent doesn't convey the users to a download link.
Furthermore, there are inconsistencies in the layout structure of the portal. A consistent layout helps users develop familiarity with the interface, making it easier for them to find what they need and navigate through the portal smoothly. Inconsistencies in layout can disrupt this flow and make it more challenging for users to interact with the portal effectively.
Additionally, the presence of high saturation with white spaces is causing issues with the overall visual appeal and usability of the portal. While white space can be used effectively to create a clean and uncluttered design, excessive white space can make the interface appear disjointed and sparse, detracting from the user experience.
In summary, the current UI of the Consent Manager Self Care Portal is plagued by issues with screen responsiveness, wording, inconsistent layout structure, and excessive white space, all of which contribute to a poor user experience. Addressing these issues is essential to improving the usability and effectiveness of the portal for users.
