Think that "Dir browser" must react some on clicking on tabs with opened 
files. Obviously open the path to them in "Dir browser". May be on double 
click, I see it is unbound now, or some option in popup menu..

There is a problem about many roots in "Dir browser" panel, it is good 
thing of course but add ambiguity in the problem. Good solution will be to 
open the tree from nearest root.

Using 3.9 ver

I think it's not easy to implement, because the directory browser is lazy 
opened.
When you really open the folder, the subfolder and files will be add to the 
parent
node. But if you open a file from directory browser window, they are connected 
together.
