...but a reliable, consistent replication of the glitch is escaping me, so far.

HOME [tab] > Explore genomic data through the Viewer [heading] > View genome [button] > ADD CHANNELS [button]

I guess this is probably related to CSS, z-index, or the shadow effect, <div class="modal visible">.

The visual glitch is often triggered when expanding and contracting the Variants menu (available channels / tracks).

It also happens on the Table-data Browser's column-picking dialog
