4 years ago I'd like to upvote this feature. I use this app on several phones for obs and since obs doesn't let you record incoming sources individually, doing it on the phone would be great place. These newer phones have so much processing power these days, this seems like the perfect place to do it.
Id like to see this feature as the ability to control zoom remotely. :)
It is common practice in professional streaming productions to have cameras with recording capability both record an event and provide a live feed to the production switcher. Is there enough compute capacity in iPhones and IPads to support that?d
It is common practice to provide all of the camera inputs as individual recordings so that a post-production cut of the footage can be made for archiving in the case of either a network connection interruption to the streaming server or a missed transient event of importance that should be included in the historical record. (Think "open mic" events in recent political history.
