Here's the skeleton of changes to get to angular... there are a couple TODO comments, also I haven't totally moved the functionality over yet. but take a look (and probably take a look at some resources on the internet like this one about angular https://www.w3schools.com/angular/ )
see if you guys can add all the previous functionality into this new design. feel free to checkout my branch and make changes
