If the capture is made lossless (https://github.com/wulkano/Kap/issues/1166) it might be useful to have an export option that maintains the lossless format, but is compatible with most mac video editors.
In my experience the best format for this is Quicktime Animation, which ffmpeg supports as qtrle.
