@yeban asked if an alternative approach of adding the switch stuff at the end of Docker images instead of building them from the switch baseimage would be better. I think it would because it would allow to use immediately everything on http://hub.docker.com. I don't think we want to maintain and version Dockerfiles, which in practice is mirroring Docker Hub and trying to build another community. I think switch should just be a wrapper around Docker to make it easier to use the available images in a interactive way for development and bioinformatics.
