2. system-gb-xxxx (LATEST)
3. boot-gb-xxxx (LATEST)
4. ...

On what operating system?
XP, Vista.

Do you have logcat or dmesg ?
 (adb logcat -d > logcat.txt, adb shell dmesg > dmesg.txt)
No.
What version of the *Official LG* Firmware were before using Custom
firmware ?
(V20G, V20D, V15x, V16x etc. )
 Official froyo V20G

Please provide any additional information below.

Could you fix it in the nwe version?

I also have this issue, though only on Snow Leopard; on Windows 7 it's works
fine.

I have this problem always, in each PC I try to connect it as Mass Storage.
With the drivers installed, the problem dissapear, but that isn´t an universal
Mass Storage, it´s like an apple in which you should have preinstalled the
driver to use the hardware with the PC. It´s not Android´s idea.

Same issue here. I receive "usb connected" notification (only when debugging
enabled), but when I click it, screen just flashes and I return to the desktop.
 I have installed "system-gb-20110529-BETA.zip" and use Win7 x64.

It is easy to reproduce on any clean (without driver on lg-modem in the system)
computer with Windows XP. Always needed LG drivers for mass storage mounting.

Same thing happening here, in both XP / Win7.
Device manager reported it as "LG Mobile USB Modem" ( VID 1005 PID 6000 )
Any workarounds?
