This will make it easier to find DJs. We could maybe include this on the main website as well in addition to just the Trackman login page and Library.

No, but it will help make the user experience a bit nicer. If the field gets focus on load, you could click on the page and immediately start typing your name to find yourself quickly. We could even have keyboard navigation.
