Trackman should replace the Program Log (which tracks PSAs, Underwriting, etc) #34

Trackman should replace the Program Log, which is a paper log of PSAs, Underwriting, Promos, IDs, and when they were read by the DJ on-air. This does not replace the engineering log (mostly a tool to track the designated operator).

Goals:

  1. DJs should be able to log that they read a PSA, Promo, Underwriting, or ID
  2. PR, Sales, Program directors should be able to view reports on content
    • PR cares what was read in a given hours, (PSA or Promo Nr. and count). Default range of 1wk
    • Sales cares what was read (Underwriting Nr. and count and times). Default range of 1wk
    • Program cares that they were read in the given hours near the goal time. Complex...

DJ can optionally display this info to the audience (not displayed by default). The actual fields will be "PSA Nr" and maybe a short description (hidden from audience). Displayed on the website will be Artist of DJ, Album of WUVT, Title of "PSA" or "PROMO" or "UNDERWRITING".

This will require an API modification and some design work on the trackman javascript interface (it's getting dense).

I think supporting the Statement of Ownership explicitly (seperate from ID) is unnecessary, as it counts as the legal ID, and it's rare that we must read the SOO.

We should also add "talk" blocks, which take an arbitrary title.

This does not cover replacing the ring binder, which would be a seperate app that logs to trackman using a live-assist API.

It would be useful if Sales/PR staff could have a tool to update a table of PSAs and underwriting that should be read. In trackman, the user should have a highlighted item in their play queue indicating the text of the underwriting or PSA that should be read if this traffic has not yet been read and it is within the segment of the program clock.

This will have other dependencies, including a multi-computer display of trackman (so one screen can be used for tracklogging and another can be used as a teleprompter-like display)

and #13. of course, we partially have this supported in johnny-six, and it becomes more germane as we support remote/voicetracked shows.
