Feedback and Issues with UI Elements & Feature Request

Hey,

Appreciate the Gnome Gemini AI extension. Noticed a few areas for improvement:

• Panel Icon: The PNG icon looks pixelated. Is it possible to enhance?
• Chat Box: Sizes vary and seem inconsistent. Aiming for uniformity would be ideal.
• Settings & Delete Buttons: They seem to be different sizes.
• Settings Toggles: Appear stretched. Adjustments needed for a cleaner interface.

Feature Request:

• Text Selection: It would be great to be able to select text from AI responses.

actually, when I have some free time I will re-enhance entire the UI overhaul but for now when you click the response it's copying. My plan is to add links, and images to the AI response but since gnome.js doesn't have a rich text box I need to parse.MD format to gnome.js manually

Great and promising extension!

I take this opportunity to also ask you to include an auto-focus feature at prompt in the your extension, if possible. It would be amazing if your extension had the option to delete chats individually too!

about the auto-focus, when you focus the any extensions textbox, it locks the keyboard (you can try to take a screen shoot when you focus ht textbox) so I'm not sure if there will be auto-focus in future but I will add delete idv chats ASAP. thanks for feedbacks

I think the app is great, but there is an option to automatically delete old chats when I return. When the answer is long, the UI cannot display all the content and shows ..., and the font size is also unusually large. Can you pre-process the returned data and then display it?

Hi @revaxe what is your application theme? for some reason, some applications can not get the system preferences if you have a custom theme. can you check ~/.config/gtk-3.0/settings.ini file? and also I'm currently developing a new UI for extension :tada: The new UI will have:

• Theme Switch
• Fully MD support (currently extension only shows text, via the new UI it will show images, links, etc)
• custom response overhaul ( it's going to fix the @nkcong206 issues)
• auto focus & individually delete(as @douglasilvadev requested)
• new icon sets, text selections (as @saintin420 requested)
• and more :tada:

First awesome work and implementation. This is very useful!

Adding another text wrapping issue: When the response is too long, the text doesn't wrap around and it's truncated. This worked fine until recently but can't pin point exactly what changed. Click > Paste gets me around that for the time being. Gnome 46.2.
