Share your EasyEffects / PulseEffects presets or settings! :D #1878

Hi, can you create a pinned thread where we can share our easyeffects / pulseeffects presets or settings? This is to make it easier for some users to find their perfect configuration (especially when it comes to the EQ section). Thanks!

vchernin commented 2 years ago

The discussions page might be a good tool for this, but https://github.com/wwmm/easyeffects/issues/1771 is relevant here too. Since having just one package with all the presets might be easier, maybe it makes sense to have one repo with many community contributed presets.

wwmm commented 2 years ago

For now lets keep this issue pinned. Let's see what happens. If there is no activity after a few months it can always be unpinned.

@soonan5 tbh your zx and zs presets are too loud for the ears to be audible when trying to hear.

ghost commented 2 years ago

You can try lowering the Input level in the Equalizer or Limiter settings.

ghost commented 2 years ago

Also note that the equalizer works subtractively (removes frequencies instead of boosting them) This means that the maximum volume for any frequency is <=0 (less than or equal to zero)

Doesn't this entirely depend on your headphone/speaker model though?

Yes. Any operation that is done with easyeffects will have results that depend on the hardware, environment, human ear frequency response, etc. At all times people must have in mind that presets are just a suggestion or an idea about how to start their own custom solutions.

Well then, I would like to suggest here that if you are looking to have a flat profile for your soundsystem, look into AutoEQ.

When Autoeq frequencies are peaking, means sino in EasyEffects?

What other equalizers call Peak is called Bell in the LSP equalizer.

wait how do you bring autoeq in easyeffects?

You can use the Load APO Preset button in EasyEffects, in the EQ panel.

servimo commented 2 years ago

First I create a new preset for the equalizer of easyeffects. I open the browser in the equalization preset that I want and go inserting into easyeffects equalizer.

No wait i didn't get the whole process. Should I create the autoeq first from the "equalising" method from autoeq website?

Usually I find my headphones from the results page. Then there are different versions, choose parametric EQ (I think), then download this as a text file, and load APO preset from EasyEffects.

I'm not sure what the process is to AutoEQ a pair of phones yourself though. Probably requires some expensive tech (hence why AutoEQ gets its curves from crinacle etc...)

Hi, I'm @soonan5. Now I host my presets in the following link: https://github.com/p-chan5/EasyPulse

Feel free to comment or suggest changes even if you just want to say thanks I will appreciate your interest and sincerity towards my work.

I thought it was Dynamic EQ. A feature of FabFilter Pro Q 3.

Usually I find my headphones from the results page.

I admit I don't know how to generate a curvature or EQ model with this software but... guaranteeing that the sound is neutral or similar to others is impossible! Factors such as impedance (Ω) / frequency range (Hz - kHz) / stereo image should be considered. I would like to know if they are taking advantage of the capabilities of each architecture or in the background they are automating this. How many more impulses do you need to try if you don't like the one they suggested? Try using my my presets. Load custom and correct the signal according to your needs.

Master_EQ.json

This is pretty good but will require a custom IRS file.. choose at your will. Might have to re-adjust dB range to avoid distortion.
