Maybe the Flatpak package does not build the ladspa plugin for the deep noise remover. This is probably the most likely explanation. Is that the case @violetmage @vchernin ?

violetmage commented 3 weeks ago

No, the flatpak does include deepfilternet:

https://github.com/flathub/com.github.wwmm.easyeffects/blob/master/easyeffects-modules.json#L341

I think this is actually the result of a somewhat confusing default setup in fedora; they have their own flatpak repo that is enabled by default, while the flathub repo is installed but not enabled. This can quickly cause confusion.

It is easy to confirm if this is the case, simply by running flatpak list all

Oh... I see. Even without being a Fedora user I can see this being really confusing. I wonder why they can't just use flathub. Maybe because not everything that is there will be free of proprietary software...

So you say the whole problem will be solved if i remove the program and select the flatpak repo instead of fedora version on flatpak while downloading it?

Yes, the flathub flatpak package will work.

Oh yes you were right. The problem has been solved. Do not download the fedora version of this app, go with the classical flatpak version instead.

Had the same problem with multiple plugins in EasyEffects with Fedora 40, the flathub version fixed it.
