[Feature Request] Support for the Calf Crusher plugin? #854

I noticed that Calf Studio Gear has a bitcrusher plugin called Calf Plugin (https://calf-studio-gear.org/doc/Crusher.html). I'd love to have this plugin in PulseEffects, as a bitcrusher is the only thing missing that I'd like to use.

Last distortion plugin: the tape simulator would also be nice to have https://calf-studio-gear.org/doc/Tape%20Simulator.html

PulseEffects main developer is now mostly busy on porting the project on Pipewire. Maybe we can discuss on adding new plugins after the port is completed.

PipeWire it's done?
I think easyeffects lacks Distortion and Vocoder.

There are Distortion related modules in the optional dependencies, like:

Pipewire is done. Anyway, I suppose the demand for these plugins is very low. Don't know if it's worth to add them.

If you need them, you can use them with carla suite, especially carla-rack.
