I tried to install it today in Home Assistant (Virtual Server on my Synology NAS). I think I did all what’s written in the instruction:

installed AppDeamon configurated AppDeamon added folder “main” in “config/appdaemnon/apps” copied files from pyton-folder in created main-folder edited and renamed config_getjudo.py edited apps.yaml After starting AppDeamon I didn’t get any Entity / Device in my MQTT (mosquitto broker). And the AppDeamon-Protocoll shows the following:

Can anyone help me with that?

threadstone83 commented 8 months ago

No one?!

threadstone83 commented 7 months ago

@www-ShapeLabs-de @danielegger1 Do you have an idea / a hint for me?

danielegger1 commented 7 months ago

Hi since the update my appdeamon is also broken, they changed the appdaemon folder and I need to figure out the issue. I have to update the manual ones I figure out the issue

danielegger1 commented 7 months ago

I think you are running an older version of appdaemon. Uninstall it, reinstall it, change the config (temp file location needs to be changed -> TEMP_FILE = "/config/apps/main/temp_getjudo.pkl") change the appdaemon.yaml file (that it does not load the secrets.yaml file from the wrong location (secrets: /homeassistant/secrets.yaml instead of secrets: /config/secrets.yaml) then it should boot normally. Not sure why they changed the root folder, it broke my app too and many others have reported the same

threadstone83 commented 7 months ago

@danielegger1 I installed it with the old version of AppDeamon (0.14). In the next days I make a new, clean install with your hints. I will write here if it works. Thank you!

threadstone83 commented 5 months ago

@danielegger1 sorry for the very late answer. But now I have tried like you have written but again it don't work. Is the path in TEMP_FILE correct? Does it not be addon_configs/a0d7b954_appdaemon/apps/main/temp_getjudo.pkl ? I tried both but nothing works. Here the protocol of AppDaemon:

The problem is, that your mqtt does not work, please check your mqtt settings in the config file

threadstone83 commented 5 months ago

MQTT is running. Zigbee2mqtt and another integration which needs MQTT works like it should be. In AppDeamon I only have added paho-mqtt. Thats right or?

danielegger1 commented 5 months ago

Yes that is correct But the error mentions, ghat the mqtt login is the problem, did you setup the mqtt login properly in the config within appdaemon folder?

threadstone83 commented 5 months ago

I think so. I tried with USE_MQTT_AUTH=false and with ...=true. I have added the username and password from my MQTT-User in HA. In MQTT itself I don't have set an user in the configuration. I just set this one:

active: false folder: mosquitto

danielegger1 commented 5 months ago

Use mqtt needs to be on true, otherwise no login But you need also the ip, not just username and password Try to use the mqtt explorer and login there

threadstone83 commented 5 months ago

Argh. I think I found the problem. As MQTT IP I have added the one from my Judo :-( What IP do I need? Is it the one from my HA?

threadstone83 commented 5 months ago

I tried with the one of HA and the MQTT error is solved. But now I got error 5 again:

Good, check the other issue, the temp folder has changed, you need to change it as well

threadstone83 commented 5 months ago

The Temp-folder is already changed:

TEMP_FILE = "/config/appdaemon/apps/main/temp_getjudo.pkl"
threadstone83 commented 5 months ago

I tried also this path for TEMP_FILE but it also don't works:

TEMP_FILE = "/addons_config/a0d7b954_appdaemon/apps/main/temp_getjudo.pkl"

I think there is something wrong with my judo device. Today I noticed that I no longer have access to it with JU-Control-App and ju-control.app . It's permanently shown as offline. Even a restart didn't help. I have contacted Judo and hope they find a solution.

I have an Update. I got an upgrade of my system to an iSoft Safe Plus, but I still get the following error. I have already completely reinstalled AppDeamon and restarted it several times.

Can anyone give me a hint what I'm doing wrong?!
