hello! in method wxString GroupCell::PrepareForTeX(wxString str) not process dollar. "$" if in text cell I print $, then in LaTeX it switch math mode. i think there line solve problem str1.Replace(wxT("$"), wxT("\$")); Thank you!

And when Maxima askes "Is a positive or negative?" in LaTeX it paste in math mode. so spases are ignored. and in pdf I see "Isapositiveornegative?"

Hi! Can you please provide a .wxm file and PDF that demonstrates the behavior you have mentioned?

Also what version of wxMaxima and maxima are you running, and on what OS?
