The app may not be able to detect, access and sync iCloud Drive data if a user updates their device OS or edit iCloud settings at the system level. This most commonly occurs on iOS and iPadOS, and appears to be an Apple system bug and not a Personal Diary bug, and thus not fixable by us. When this happens, most apps on your device will lose access to iCloud, not just Personal Diary. If you encounter this issue, please report the issue to Apple.
To fix this, simply restart your device. Take note this means a full shutdown and reboot, not sleep and wake.
