Page Curl Animations also enables the ability to tap the edge of a page to switch to the next page. This conflicts with any image attachments located near the edge, for instance making it impossible to open certain images or add new ones through the add button, since the app switches pages instead.
This will be resolved in an update.
Workaround: Avoid tapping too close to the edge. Alternatively, disable Page Curl Animations in the app's settings.
