Sync index and guide examples with reality #26

I just installed nightly Rust + Cargo and went through all the examples.

This PR has no new content, it just syncs the examples in the docs with reality.

I kind of wish for the original output in some cases :stuck_out_tongue:

:) Yeah, it starts to be a bit noisy, but I assume the details (like local paths) can be useful sometimes.
