9 years ago I've experienced this as well. If I melt more than one hopper I will still only get one permutatio.

When using the alchemical furnace and arcane alembic's to harvest permutatio from vanilla hoppers, they "freeze"? best way i can describe it. the furnace can be full of permutatio but only 1 essentia at a time can go into the alembics, you have to clear the 1 permutatio, before another can go in, instead of it stacking up to 64 like it does with every other aspect, including permutatio if you get it from other items. its directly related to hoppers some how..
