I'd like to know whether there are Yanel implementations where a realm app runs on different nodes (e.g. 3 Tomcat instances + 1 Loadbalancer in front) including Lucene?
Questions regarding Yanel Clustering are:
When the 3 nodes run on 3 different machines in the same network, what would be the best solution to share the local data stored in the Yarep Repository (e.g. /data)? Would you define a server to host the physical master data and all other servers would "mount" that remote directory? How does that perform?
Lucene stores its segment files locally on disk. What would be the best setup:
Have a lucene index on each server locally? How would you sync the nodes then?
Have a single lucene index only on one of the servers, all Yanel nodes would use index operations only through a new (to be developed) REST API (add to index, search in index, delete in index).
