Home Menu #26

L.S.,

First, thnx for this great Skin. On my LibreElec device, all perfect. On my Chromecast GoogleTV tv 4k almost.

I can not edit the home menu using version 1.7.5 in horizontal view. When selecting vertical view I can only use the “ok” button to scroll to items, no selection is possible.

Please let me know if i’m doing something wrong or if you need additional info.

Sorry for very late reply RL has seriously got in the way. I am aware of a couple of issues with the Home Screen editing (and a number of other unrelated issues with this release) I am hoping to make available thru GitHub a test version of a fixed version soon, will advise when it is available. In the meantime could you please post a link to a FULL debug log of a Kodi session where you are trying to edit the Home Screen and you are having issues.

At this stage I am thinking it's a focus issue between screen elements, but don't understand why it is working on one platform but not another. Hopefully your debug log might give me some hints.

Hi Wyrm,

No sweat, glad that you replied. I unfortunately do not know how to send a debug log from the Chromecast, I can’t get acces to the .kodi folder via FTP.

But maybe this helps to indentify/solve the issue:

Because I also use a Logitech Harmony as an remote, I also have a “trackpad” to control the “mouse”. So when I want to change the Home Menu and then use the Logitech “trackpad/mouse” function then i’m able to select the Home Menu and then the up/down/left/right/ok keys are working again.
