Safari seems to have a weird quirk, and doesn’t seem to load any <link> tag that was prepended to the DOM head via JS which is what the package react-favicon did. So hardcoded this tag instead with an env variable. Additionally, when this update goes up on dev/prod, users may still not see the favicon on Safari. Seems I had to delete favicons.* files from within ~/Library/Safari/Favicons Cachedirectory every time the favicon was updated. Don’t know if the same is true for other machines/versions of Safari.
