Statement of problem

The HuBMAP portal UI depends on the following file that will be deprecated as part of the CEDAR integration:

field-descriptions.yaml

The file provides descriptions used most prominently in metadata tables and the tsv downloads we make available.

Solution

Enhance the UBKG to contain field descriptions.
