Xstation 1.4.4 memcard manager channel 1 save block issue #162

Xstation firmware: 1.4.4 memcard pro firmware: 1.0.3 memory card: Sandisk Ultra 16gb microsd HC and brand new sandisk ultra 32gb microsd hc. Memory card has been overwrite formatted with SD Card Formatted

Issue: After booting up Xstation, selecting the game BIN and accessing the xstation memcard manager (options->mem cards), the first block out of the fifteen blocks in MCPRO channel 1 is black not orange. When the first block is highlighted the message displays "Partial Deleted Save: Code: -30". The other fourteen blocks are orange and display "Empty Block" when highlighted. Attempting to delete the first block, the message displays "Block(s) may be corrupt! Err Block 0 Unknown Type, 0X4D"

When switching to a different channel (pressing L1/R1) Blocks in that channel appear normal(orange and displays empty block). Switching back to Channel 1 from another channel, the blocks in Channel 1 are all orange and display empty block, the corrupt block is gone. However it appears again in channel 1 and when you exit and access the xstation memcard manager again.

Quick Testing: Boot up a game, make a save, boot up xstation memcard manager: in channel 1 most of the blocks appear black and corrupted with -30 code. Switch to a different memcard channel with L1/R1 and back to Channel 1 and save file and blocks are normal. Exit back to xstation and back to the manager again: save file in block 1 has code-30 error message and can't be deleted, all other blocks in channel 1 are okay. switching channels fixes channel 1 until exit.

Summary: There seems to be a problem with xstation memcard manager and memcard pro channel 1 for any game. Switching channels seems to fix the save blocks in ch.1 until you load up the manager again. Doesn't seem to affect in game saving. You can't delete saves in memcard manager if it has the -30 code unless you switch channels.

Update: This issue seems to resolve itself when you setup the wifi and remote features on the memcard pro; specifically downloading the "scancache.db" file to your microsd card to setup the card browser. If you don't do this, then you will encounter the block error issue.
