2 months ago If you can't find which setting is causing this, then send a save to reproduce the issue + your Mods/ToyBox/Settings.xml (which contains your ToyBox settings).

2 months ago I am using the keyboard. I am not playing "turn-based." The only mod I am trying to use now is your Toybox 1.5.34 version. The last time I tried a new game, I only had the Level Stat Changes and Special Abilities section checked (except for a few features that opposed each other). I will try again with zero features selected. Thanks again for the help.

I don't know what you're trying to achieve with setting the multiplier to 0 here, but this will set your vision range to 0. That's the issue
Admittedly, it should've been called Vision Range Multiplier and not Fog of War Multiplier.

Introduction:
Other than Toybox, I am currently using Presitge Plus, Presige Minus, AddedFeats, Champion Feats Anew, Char+, Expanded Content, Homebrew Arch, Level 1 Companions, Mod Menu, Multiple Arch, Mythic Spellbook Tweaks, Pheonix's Cantrips, Phoenix's Cantrips - More Cantrips, Puzzle Skip, Spellbook Merge, TT Base, TT Mythic Rework, WotR Inventory Tweak, and Wrath Patches. I use Mod Finder to keep things updated. I have the newest version of UMM effective 8/9/2024.
My issues:
I used many less mods when I first started the game (because I wanted to rely heavily on Toybox), but I have always had a problem with NPC and item visibility with Toybox on, and I have tried the last three versions. I haven't tried the newest version, but I just saw the new version today, and I didn't see any fixes for my issue in the update description. I have tested many different options as well in Toybox, trying to see the invisible characters and items on the map appear.
I cannot click the beginning treasure chest to continue the first mission (I can see it, but not highlight/click), and any NPC that isn't talking (or in my group) becomes invisible. It seems like I am missing a layer of the graphics or something. I turned Toybox on after the first chest so I can click the chest, but then I couldn't see the glowing sword in the stone (that I read about and saw online) or the male NPCs that wanted me to find the sword. It is the only mod that makes this happen. Everything else works swimmingly.
Other ways I tried to mimic Toybox:
When I use the latest cheat file I could find from the web to use Cheat Engine INSTEAD of Toybox (I turned Toybox off), it messes up my character creation screen to where I can't finish the character (messes with the menu or tells me I still have points to spend when I don't). So far, I am kind of stuck with using WeMod and the other mods that still work. I may try the Cheat Engine after character creation and miss out on the multiple backgrounds or feats. I wanted more feats though, and more control over things.
Other Info:
I notice no other glitches than the ones that I described. I understand this could be my own issue.
My UMM version is the new "UnityModManager-21-0-28-2-1722683056." My game is updated. I do not have any DLC content.

Can you reproduce this issue with only ToyBox installed? Could you share the steps you do to actually cause the issue (preferably with a save just before you encounter the issue)?
Give me a little time to test it again with the other mods disabled.
I will see if it works and make a new save file.
I will be back after I do some testing. Thank you for your patience, and your help. I have been exerting myself a lot more recently and I start passing out at my chair shortly after sitting down in the evening.
Oh, and by the way, I am not trying to say this mod doesn't work for anyone else or anything. I am aware that I could be the only one with this issue.

What options/settings do you have enabled in ToyBox?
I have checked and unchecked many features over time, hoping that I could find the source of my issue. First, I unchecked many features that had to do with highlighting items or making visual changes to the screen. The item and character disappearing still happened. Then I unchecked every feature that had anything to do with UI, color, markers, etc. No luck. Last, I tried having only leveling and stat changes on. Still I have an issue. Now, I think I will uncheck everything, and see if it still makes things disappear. I will report back to you again soon.
