Crafting Recipes not working on Server

For some background I am running a server using a mini PC operating on linux, using CasaOS and an app called Crafty which lets me spin up servers pretty easy.

I am having an issue where crafting seems limited to the vanilla recipes.. There is modded content in the game like the inventory management and UI/Minimap but I cannot craft items like the chisel or even the workbench. I have not seen this issue anywhere else and cannot seem to find a config file that would make this unavailable.

Open to all suggestions and am able to provide plenty of extra info if needed. Thank you.

How are you starting the server? This is an issue when it is not started properly. Did you use the launch script?

@xJon Hi, so the Crafty Server launches automatically so i'm not super sure, here is what happens when I click start.

And here are the server config options I have available.

If you want to or are allowed/available to do call via cell or discord to troubleshoot I would be happy to do that as well

based on what I think you might be going to suggest I spun up a new server with this config.

and get this error

Almost there! You just need to make sure you use Java 8.

So java 8 is now installed on the Server. but still having the issue, are you able to provide more info on the "Launch Script" Which of these files am I supposed to use? I tried running it with all of the following.

You are supposed to launch the Forge jar, using Java 8.
