Flux Networks as a new mod to the pack #678

  1. Has someone suggested this mod before: yes
  2. Why should the mod be added: Flux Networks add a few items to the game that can end up being very very useful, as it is a modpack with lots of tech mods and energy generation stuff, and Flux Networks allow the player to transfer energy through long distances and dimensions at a low material cost, when comparated to mekanism and ender io energy transfer.

Mod info & download page

Flux Networks is a mod that adds wireless cross-dimensions energy transfer, also an energy conversion, assuming that some mods wont accept every kind of energy. You can use the two main blocks, the flux plug and the flux point, to transfer energy from an A place to a B place, being on the same dimension or not, from any distance, you just net to put down a Flux Controller to set frequency, as it goes on any other energy transfer, as the following image shows, and it also allows to auto wireless charge the player's inventory. Those 3 main items are quite cheap to craft, even with 1 or 2 hours in a new map you can get them already.

You can set the frequency by name and color, and use multiple points and plugs to drain and to output energy to machines.

The main item of Flux Networks is the Flux Dust, which is obtained in 2 different ways: you net to put down an obsidian above a bedrock block, with a gap between them, throw some redstone on the middle, then right click on the obsidian, then it will press the redstone down and transform it into Flux Dust. Alternatively, you can just smelt some redstone, as you can see down here:

Other than Flux Dust, every other crafting material is easily obtained through vanilla, like obsidian and ender eye.

For those, like me, who finds the Quantum Entangloporter from Mekanism, and the Dimensional Transceiver from Ender IO quite expensive to craft, being necessary lots of machines to get the crafting materials for them, Flux Networks would save a lot of time.
