Sphax resource pack patch doesn't work properly with new versions of the modpack #804

Describe the issue

Sphax textures broken after 1.5.0 update. Notable packs: AE2 Unofficial Extended Life, Mekanism, MachineMuses Modular Powersuits. Items: Mekanism universal cables, AE2 ME cables, MachineMuses Power Fist. Steps to reproduce: Install 1.5.0, Install PureDBcraft for 1.12 (https://bdcraft.net/downloads/purebdcraft-minecraft/#dl-112), Install The 1.12.2 Pack patch (https://bdcraft.net/community/releases-for-packs-f10/the-1122-pack-t7415.html). I use 64x.

Hmm, that's annoying. So it's not all broken, just some specific patches? Unfortunately I don't have much experience with it and I did not create those patches. I remember in the past there was a bug that broke all resource pack support but this doesn't seem to be the case as it's a few specific mods. I wouldn't want to prioritize specific mods' resource pack support over bug fixes, hopefully that makes sense. In this case I'd highly recommend trying to reach out to the person who made the Sphax patch (Novamanga?) for support regarding this. Apologies!

Unfortunately it seems to me the Sphax patch just needs some work done to it. I'm not a resource pack maker but I'd love if someone can update it, there are new mod patches such as for AE2 Unofficial Extended Life, I commented on the forum post and you can try to do so as well in the hope someone can pick it up again. Thank you nonetheless for reporting it!
