thaum 6 is quite bare and similar to its 1.7.10 counterpart is drastically improved by the modding community creating addons for it, moreso in TC6s case with the likes of wonders, augmentation and the KAMI gear port.
Thaumic additions reconstructed adds some nice QOL and also useful late stage gear for thaumcraft which is lacking heavily in the pack due to TC6 being abandoned mid development, it adds content such as higher tier (and expensive) smelters that scale much better for a end game thaum player than still being stuck with slightly inefficient void smelters and no realistically good flux removal methods for mass production a high tier thaum player is doing, other handy QOL items like the void thaumometer for players, the aura charger and the crystal bore as well as many other things,
i think it fits the pack as generally 1.7.10 had a lot of thaumcraft content with horizons, the completed tinkerer, the base mod itself and this expands on more but not heavy content for the mod
