• Using the paths tool when you create a basic circle in the center of the effect it makes the moving heads flip pan 180 due to the start point of the circle unlike in most conventional lighting consoles ( could have to do with only being able to set -180 or +180 to the pan in the layout tab)
• When using the color wheel tab it locks on the dimmer in programming

For the dimmer you have 2 options. Sounds like you are using the channel that is buried in the color options. If you don’t want it to set automatically with the color wheel you need to zero that channel out and set the dimmer channel that’s in its own parameter section. Sorry the other one already existed and I couldn’t find a good way to make it work for both options so you have to pick which one to use.

For the circle if it’s going through the meridian the head can’t spin forever. I don’t own a console so I have no idea how they do it.
