Shaders losing their filename settings when importing.. #4926

Vivid sequences has a sequence that when imported the shaders are lost - not all of them - but some are replaced with ''. Working with Mark to track this down. Also reported on fb. - Daryl

We think it is the single quote in the sequence and zip name. I will try to duplicate it. Gangsta's Paradise.

So the sequence that we import from has a special character in it alt+0180 "gangsta´s paradise" This is not handled on the import.

@computergeek1507 Scott - you usually have the quick fixes for this .. the special character is the path is being switched out - utf?

Turns out has nothing to do with importing. Simply point to a shader where the .fs file is in a directory that has a utf character in it. xlights lets you pick it but it wont render it. This happens when one imports a sequence and it automagically creates the importmedia folder using the sequence name. ("gangsta´s paradis.zip")

Found this is common for images as well.. if the directory has utf characters in it - they are not handled by xlights. Bigger task..

Dont' we tell everyone to cleanup their song names... same should be for folders... they never listen.
