Hi im a newbe i have bought a pi cap, Fitted this and installed falcon player on my raspberry 2b and got some pixels and connected them and everything is working. Now my question is how do I configure/set up the channels in xlight so I can start doing a sequence for them properly? I have also bought a 27 channel dmx dumb rgb 27 channel controller as I am wanting to do a singing xmas tree for christmas.

There's no special setup for a hat/cap in xLights for sequencing. I run all my pixels off of a hat/cap and simply setup 6 universes which is more than enough for the 500 pixels I run.

This question would be better asked on the official xlights facebook group (https://www.facebook.com/groups/628061113896314) or on the forum (nutcracker123.com/forum). Only enhancement requests and bugs should be reported here.

I understand that but what do you set them up as E1.21, usb or art net?

I understand this but you don’t exactly get instructions with the item and trying to get in touch with falcon is not possible tried and failed

The only instructions you need are to head over to the facebook group I linked to above and ask there and you will get all the help you need.

Set it up as E1.31 and run the FPP in Bridge mode. Another way is copy your FSEQ file onto the FPP and run the sequence there where it won't matter which output type you chose. But I agree with Keith we don't have time to help all the users figure out how to use their hardware. We have tons of users that will help with that.
