Inconsistent starting points in sequence diagrams #16

As seen from the 2 images below, one has a starting point that is the User, and one just comes from an empty space.

Team's Response

  1. This was not a requirement in UML (sequence) diagrams, to include a specific starting point.
  2. Given the different contexts, it is justified that the bottom diagram omitted the User starting point. (The focus is on the interaction between Logic and Model)

Reason for disagreement: It was not a requirement, however there is also no justification that the 2nd diagram should ignore the starting point. It could have been from the UI components etc. Alternatively, the starting point of the first diagram could have also been omitted, as it can be inferred that the input came from the user. This shows an inconsistency in the UML diagrams as some have starting point and some don't. Therefore, i will hold my stand with this bug report.
