Hi, thanks for the pull request. I ended up changing it quite a bit because some parts of the settings were missing. Therefore, I will not merge this. Instead, I released a new version (also v0.0.2 on open-vsx) that should allow you to select a fixed connection token in the config. Please try it and tell me if it works for you.
