an issue about Biomes O' Plenty mod #10

image There is a block using the model of tall grass as its model.If you activate this resourcepack,it will look strange.

Could you possibly fix it for your resourcepack?It will be great because your resourcepack is so beautiful that I really love it

@Miaochan its not an "actual" fix but if you just find the model for the tall grass and remove that (or add a different resource pack's tall grass model above this resource pack) it will be a good bandaid.

I wonder if this is caused by the shader. I doubt this is cause only by biome o plenty since I used it in the past without any issue, I might be because of the compression I used or the shader. Not playing well with transparent overlays. In any case this is weird that you get tall grass textures.

Actually the texture of watergrass is still broken though I disabled shader or removed shadersmod. 2023-04-29_16 06 53

Maybe It's not normal on new version but works well on old version?My game version is 1.19.2

No.But there are 2 mods loaded except BOP:reforgium and connectedness (to add connected textures)

I haven't found the similar issue on other resourcepacks in the same condition

This issue is related to snowy_grass file,it might be continuity's issue that inherited by connectedness. I don't know much about making resourcepacks so I will research optiFine documentation and try to reproduce the similar problem with continuity on Fabric in a few days,then report it to corresponding mod author depending on circumstances.

Now I understand how to replicate it with your resourcepack,actually it's Connectedness's issue and very rare 2023-08-09_22 13 57 2023-08-09_22 05 58 I replaced the models of BOP reed and Farmer's Delight wild race with rose and grass,then rendering issue happens. To replicate this issue,2 conditions need to be met: 1.Make connected texture for plants 2.Use plants with CTM feature to replace the models of 2-block-high aquatic plants

Why did this happen to your resourcepack?Because tall grass in your resourcepack utilizes connected texture feature,and BOP watergrass use the model of tall grass as its model,therefore issue occurs

I would like to report this to Connectedness's author.Could you allow me to send him your resourcepack to help him reproduce the problem?(Because I can't find other resourcepack that add connected texture for grass) This is a modded version,I deleted most unrelated files and modified the models of reed and wild race. xali's+Enhanced+Vanilla+v1.11.1(modded version).zip
