Remote iOS simulator refresh issue #6817

Steps to Reproduce

  1. In Visual Studio 2019, create a new xamarin forms app for ios, masterdetail template.
  2. Enable xamarin remote ios simulator in xamarin options
  3. Launch the ios app on the ios simulator
  4. Open the app menu

Expected Behavior

In the remote simulator, the menu should be displayed properly in the master page, just as it does in the simulator within macos.

Actual Behavior

The master page is not displayed properly when opening the menu (in the remote simulator). Only when scrolling the menu does the master page refresh properly. See attached screenshot and video capture for more details. No issue when using the standard simulator within macos.

Seems to be similar to this issue, however it's not clear whether it has ever been investigated and fixed or not: https://xamarin.github.io/bugzilla-archives/61/61092/bug.html

I've tested recently with a more recent version of visual studio, and I don't have this issue anymore.
