[SOLVED] Can't get the mod to work at all #87

So for anyone who is struggeling as much as I was to get the mod to work:

DO NOT just download all the files.

  1. Go to releases on the right hand side of the webpage.
  2. Download the relevant .zip for the game you wanna play.
  3. Extract the zip and put the .ini and .asi files in the "scripts" folder of your game.

  4. Enjoy!

I have downloaded the mod to run it on Carbon Redux 2024.

After extraction of the .zip file into the carbon directory it doesn't work.

Copying the "NFS_XtendedInput.default" (.ini), "NFS_XtendedInput" (.ini) and the "EventReference" (.txt) in scripts nothing happens.

I've read on other problems/discussions that you need the carbon release directory. Where can i find that / what do a have to do to configure the mod to create that directory.

Do i have to run any of the post-build batchfiles or should it work automatically?

I have reached out to different modding communities but nothing seems to work.

Greatly appreciate any help on the matter.
