Some of the ideas I have jotted down to enhance the experience:

• Random car after you lose!
• Snow mod
• NOS limiter
• Engine blow
• Chaos combo
• Game crash when you collide hard
• Blindfold
• No reset
• Solo car (not nuzlocke anymore)
• Lose money per lost car
• Stock only!
• lose grip more the race lasts
• random roadblocks with traffic cars?
• faster & more agressive traffic like in UG2 RacerAI

• Accelerate the tram in chinatown track and/or the train in drag race track, if possible - Force upon the player a certain randomly picked car in the beginning of the career (and optionally: do not let them choose other vehicles except unlocked ones (ouch!)). Or maybe it is Solo car already.

Thinking about it, the best approach to implementing this would be something like mutators in UT.

Might as well call them that.
