We should capture useful metrics at a high level somewhere with visibility, such as DataDog.

Potentially useful metrics:

An interesting metric would be (# of nodes we think have latest labels) / (total # of nodes)
Imagine something is continuously setting the labels to old values. Some metric to understand churn would be useful.
