Interested in attending @bradyrx @aaronspring @ahuang11?

The conference is on Wednesday-Thursday. If interested we could look at doing a sprint on the Friday. We could do it at RSMAS so you could also tie in a research visit

I could potentially make it work out. The issue would be travel funds. climpred does not have any funding, and I'm sure my advisors grant money wouldn't cover something like this. I think I just saw a call through my department for travel grants that I could look into though.

I haven't done any python conferences like this. Is a "sprint" a setup where a bunch of folks spend a few hours/afternoon working towards some software development/PR goals?
