While we lack a self service way to backup and export, it is possible. One of the blockers for real adoption is perceived vendor lock-in. If we can make it apparent that it's easy to get your data out from our documentation that may help increase trust with new users early on. Since this is one of our most top voted capabilities (https://feedback.xata.io/feature-requests/p/export-records-to-file) it'd be nice to highlight how it's possible today, even if it is more of a workaround. @tsg suggested that it's easier to export via JSON through our JS SDK
