Just an idea of me: Instead of collecting orbs for the micros, they have to find crumbs in Talas' apartment, which spawn/respawn at random areas. If this survival mode is activated, the micros will starve to death after some time without eating/drinking (water could be found in the sink/dripping faucet or toilet for example). Starving micros would crawl on the ground, followed by immobility and finally death. Maybe a graphic for hunger/thirst could be added on the screen. The macro would be the opponent/hunter of the micros.
