Question: BactDating usage (one gene)! #64

Could one use BactDating using one gene (~2500bp) multiple alleles (~2000 alleles) an an input without recombination analysis to calculate the rate?

BactDating is completely agnostic to the type of genetic data used to build the input tree and whether recombination was accounted for to build this tree.
