FileZilla 425 Error opening data socket "Error: Failed to retrieve directory listing" #91

here is the log from FileZilla. Connect using the proxy provided by swiFTP.
Pasted entire URL given to me, including the username@...

This also happened for me with filezilla.  I got it to work with read-only mode 
in my browser, so I don't believe it is user error for me.  I also can get it 
working with no problem over wifi.

Yeah same here. However read only doesn't really serve any purpose. I believe 
the issue is with the proxy and filezilla's active and passive modes. Just gave 
up and only use via wifi now. Doesn't really need to work via Proxy actually so 
its all good.

I get "Failed to retrieve directory listing". The session authenticates 
successfully  it is a problem with the listing the directories from the phones 
SDCARD appears to time out. Works fine under WIFI connection just the 3G 
connection not working.  Using Moto Driod with Froyo 2.2 and On the other end 
Using Windows 7 with FileZilla ver 3.3.4.1

Has anyone resolved the error: "Error: Failed to retrieve directory listing". I 
have a Droid X running Froyo, and using Mozilla, and continue to get this 
error. What can I do to resolve?  anyone?

Not sure this will help anyone here, but to get SwiFTP working on Moto Droid 
2.2, I simply uninstalled, then reinstalled the app (I had only updated since 
2.1). I also set the "Stay within folder" option to "/", rather than "/sdcard". 
Not sure that made a difference, but it's working now.

Seems to Work OK after uninstall/reinstall, need to have "stay within folder" 
set to "/"

Here was my original problem after 1st install was that I could connect but 
couldn't access folders:  "550 Can't CWD to invalid directory"

Using:
SwiFTP 1.24
WinXP SP3
Connection via local wireless net
FTP Client: FileZilla 3.3.4.1.
Phone: Moto Droid 1 (2.2)

i culd not make a folder or transer a folder,
  but transfer files did work
