Issue? Getting failed to detect location

Game starts up, my character is moving, but game says failed to detect location.

I installed the xposed module, added PokeMock as mocking app, even restarted the phone. Running Android 6.0.1

I've found this happens when Pokemon GO detects there is a mock location set, which probably means the xposed module isn't working.

Can you confirm that it's working by using another mock location app such as this?

It's not, so I guess that it's the module not working. Wonder why though.

Will this APK work as normal when installed as a system app? That is a solution that works with FakeGPS and Pokemon Go.

Very nice and simple sourcecode btw :) Works very good on google Maps etc, but pokemon go go seems to detect the mock location setting.

You need XPosed and Mock Mock locations =)

Well.. Pokemon detects Mock Mock locations currently tho :) At least for me?

I'm looking for the approach Fake Gps are using in "expert-mode" (system app), which is hidden from detection. Found something here http://stackoverflow.com/questions/17412826/use-mock-location-without-setting-it-in-settings , I will try that later.

@bjella It seems like the above code is outdated for marshmallow, as confirmed with testing and the comments on the SO answer.

Confirmed. Won't work with SKK version 23 or above. Character keeps "jumping" around between locations.

Pokèmon Go does not detect "Mock Mock Locations". I had mine not working because of a borked xposed install, sounds like you're having the same issue. Pokemon GO only detects "Mock Application" if you don't have xposed correctly installed of if you haven't enabled "Mock Mock Locations".
